Wooden modular construction is an innovative and sustainable approach to building, offering a wide range of advantages over traditional construction methods. I am pleased to introduce today a modular prefabricated wooden construction technology. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the Ekoinbud factory in Gdansk, Poland, where this innovative technology is being developed and refined.

Energy Efficiency: Wooden buildings, particularly those using high-performance insulation materials like wood wool (Steico), provide superior thermal insulation. The highly insulated envelopes help maintain a stable indoor temperature, reducing the need for artificial heating or cooling. This results in significant energy savings over time, making wooden modular construction an ideal choice for energy-efficient buildings and with thoughtful modifications made during the design phase, is also an ideal solution for building Passive Houses.
